Sea Freight

Dolphin Global Logistics arranges sea freight for UK importers and exporters, specialising in container clearance and delivery to your door across the UK and EU. We manage the shipment from the port through customs to final delivery, so you deal with one team instead of several suppliers.

Our sea freight service

• Container shipments into and out of the UK
• Customs clearance at the port of arrival
• Onward delivery from the port to your door anywhere in the UK and EU
• Help with import duties, import VAT and Postponed VAT Accounting
• Shipment tracking from departure to delivery

UK seaports we work with

We clear and collect containers at London Gateway, Tilbury, Felixstowe, Southampton, Thamesport, Immingham, Liverpool and Belfast.

Is sea freight right for your shipment?

Sea freight is usually the most cost-effective way to move large or heavy consignments when transit time is less critical. If you are weighing up the options, read our guide to air freight vs sea freight for UK businesses or our UK freight cost guide.
